GERMANY: MEMORIES OF A NATION

CLIENT BBC + THE BRITISH MUSEUM
PROJECT VISUAL IDENTITY FOR EXHIBITION AND RADIO SERIES

IDENTITY / EDUCATION / ART / WEBSITE / SOCIAL MEDIA / PODCAST / EPISODE IMAGES

The British Museum and BBC Radio 4 teamed up to create an exhibition and accompanying radio series portraying the history of Germany as told through objects and design.

They wanted a very dynamic representation of Germany, showcasing its role in global design, and incorporating some of the main objects of the exhibition, such as the VW Beetle and the Meissen factory porcelain rhino.

The hot pink was added to the German colours as it is a very prominent colour in German graphic design of the past 20 years.
