MIDNIGHT'S CHILDREN

CLIENT BBC
PROJECT PROGRAMME BRANDING FOR
RADIO DRAMATISATION

IDENTITY / BRANDING / LOGO / WEBSITE / SOCIAL MEDIA / PODCAST / EPISODE IMAGES

The nice folks at BBC Radio 4 asked me to create a visual identity for the radio dramatisation of Salman Rushdie's novel Midnight's Children, to mark the 70th anniversary of the Partition of India.

They wanted the spirit and colours of India to be invoked in the imagery in a contemporary, urban setting, with a nod to the traditional, reflected in the choice of typeface I created for the programme title.

I also created a set of seven unique episode images, as well as podcast image and social media headers and promos for Facebook, Twitter and iTunes.
